For
over seven decades, Bethany Nursing Center of Vidalia has
provided residents a place to call home. Originally a home
for only women, it is now home to 168 men and women.
Completed
in early 1990 at a cost of approximately five million dollars,
the facility is located at 1305 East North Street in Vidalia,
Georgia. It is located adjacent to the Bethany Assisted
Living facility, providing easy transition for residents
in need.
Bethany Nursing Center of Vidalia provides routine nursing
services, supplies and equipment related to the daily care
of residents. These include medical and social services,
routine physical therapy, speech therapy, hand feedings,
oxygen, and restorative nursing care. Routine restorative
rehabilitation is provided by the nursing department and
independent therapy contractors.
Other
services include:
Room and board including furnishings, (private or double
occupancy)
Protective security system specifically designed for wanderers
Emergency call buttons
Laundry and housekeeping
Social time and activities
Three daily nutritious meals plus snacks (special diets
as provided by the dietary staff)
Assistance in personal care
Independently contracted beauty and barber services
Additional ancillary and medical services
